I was really looking forward to being at Dragon Con again this year (click here for a look at last year’s event), but had to drop out at the last minute due to a professional conflict. That was really a shame, because I missed out on a great weekend organized by Beau Brown and the team of volunteers who run the Dragon Con Puppetry Track.
There was a great line-up of puppeteers participating in Dragon Con this year, among them Paul McGinnis who brought his popular Puppet Slam piece Hot Carl to Dragon Con’s insanely popular Late Night Puppet Slam. He performed it with Haley Jenkins and Victor Yerrid. The Hot Carl puppet was built by the talented Eric Engelhardt.
