Jason Hopley is a Canadian puppeteer, director, and voice actor who co-created a string of beloved kids TV series including Nanalan’, Mr. Meaty, and Big and Small. Today he’s best known for his alter ego, Gary the Unicorn, one of the puppet stars of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s CBC Kids programming block. Jason recently sat down for an interview as a guest on the CBC series Q to discuss his career in kid’s TV and the importance of creating meaningful children’s entertainment.
