The Piano Creatures are a series of kinetic sculptures created by Australian sculptor and puppet maker Hilary Talbot. They’re fascinating objects built from a combination of balsa wood, papier-mâché and piano mechanisms. This video of them was produced in conjunction with Hilary’s 2018 exhibit Glimpses of a Seabird Flying Blind and features puppetry by Barb Barnett.
