Seven seasons in ZA News’ Puppet Nation keeps upping the ante. The popular South African satire series won seven South African Film and Television Awards last month and now they’re having a bit of fun at the expense of some of their favourite political targets in this ambitious Game of Thrones parody.
As is often the case with Puppet Nation, you have to have a bit of familiarity with African politics to fully appreciate their humour, but even if you don’t know Jacob Zuma from Nhlanhla Nene I think it’s easy for anyone to appreciate the work that went in to creating this segment:
