Copenhagen International Puppet Festival - Puppets in Politics Symposium

Founded in 2004, the Copenhagen International Puppet Festival is a biannual puppetry festival for adults in Copenhagen, Denmark. Its mission is to present innovative, high quality puppetry for adults and create awareness of all of the possibilities that puppetry holds.

This year’s theme is “puppets in politics” and we’ll be exploring that theme with a special presentation and screening of an excerpt from PuppetVision entitled Puppets in the Park – Outdoor puppet theatre as a vehicle for community engagement and urban renewal during the festival’s Puppets in Politics Symposium. Admission to the Symposium is 125 kr, which includes lunch and coffee. For more information please visit puppetfestival.dk.

Come to Copenhagen May 14th – 17th 2015 as puppets invade Vesterbro under the rallying cry “Puppets in Politics!”
