Sad news from the UK…British puppeteer Leslie Press has passed away.
Leslie was primarily a Punch and Judy Man (or “Professor”) and he learned the trade from a master, his father Percy Press Sr. who is generally regarded as one of the greatest Punch and Judy performers of all time. Leslie followed in his famous father’s footsteps, becoming a talented puppeteer in his own right who performed across Britain and toured internationally.
