The Alexandria International Puppets Festival takes place this week in Alexandria, Egypt.

Auditions & Job Opportunities

The TV pilot Monica’s Mixing Bowl is seeking television puppeteers in New York City.

Open Hand Theatre is holding auditions for American puppeteers this week in Syracuse, New York.

Calls for Entry

UNIMA grants and scholarships to study puppetry outside of your home country are available in The United States as well as Latin America and several other regions (see UNIMA.org for more details).

Applications are being accepted for No Such Thing 2, a platform for an “eclectic range of original and exhilarating new work from across the theatrical spectrum” at the London, England’s New Diorama Theatre (hurry, the application deadline is September 21st).

The 2015 Copenhagen Puppetry Festival is presenting a symposium and series of artists talks on a variety of puppetry-related topics. Anyone interested in presenting should contact CPFsymposium2015@gmail.com for more information.
