Netflix recently released this impressive showreel of visual effects from the Jim Henson Company’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, which debuted on the streaming service at the end of last summer. It showcases the hybrid practical/digital approach that was used to almost seamlessly take viewers back to the fictional world of Thra from Jim Henson’s original 1982 masterpiece.
