Am Mosleh  (“Tales of Uncle Mosleh”) is the first-ever marionette show produced by Al Jazeera Childrens Channel in Qatar. The series is built around an old carpenter (Am Mosleh) who narrates stories from all over the world with the help of a cast of marionettes. The show’s cast of puppeteers includes Tony Sinnet, who recently blogged about his experiences working on the show. He has also posted a set of behind-the-scenes photos from the series on Flickr.

Full episodes of Am Mosleh are available to watch on the web site of Al Jazeera Children’s Channel, which is also broadcast internationally via satellite (check your satellite TV guide to see if it’s available in your country).
