The Cold Monster™ (yes, they’re apparently trying to claim that as a trademark) was created for a new campaign for Zicam cold medication that’s built around the theme of “you don’t catch a cold, it catches you.” It’s a clever – if not entirely original – concept that’s executed really well thanks in no small part to a very impressive animatronic monster suit that was worn by Mark Smolinski and built and puppeteered by Legacy Effects.
