A look at the puppet making process of world renowned puppet designer Lyndie Wright and her work on a new puppetry production of Hamlet, which debuted at The Little Angel Theatre in London October 5th.
In case you’re unfamiliar with Lyndie and her work, she’s one of the most important puppetry artists in Britain. She co-founding the Little Angel Theatre in London with her late husband, John Wright, in 1961 and has helped nurture puppetry as an art form in the United Kingdom for more than five decades. Her commitment to British puppetry was recognized last year with the honour of being made Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
