Singapore is sometimes referred to as the “Capital of Cosplay” and it’s easy to understand why once you’ve seen some of the impressive costumes at the shows and conventions that are held there.
If you want to make an impression on the cosplay community over there you’ve got to be good and think big. That’s exactly what puppet, prop and costume maker Orvis Evans did with this impressive Iron Giant puppet at last month’s International Cosplay Day Singapore show.

In this video shot by an audience member at the show you can see the Iron Giant puppet in action reenacting a scene from the movie. It shows how Orvis operated the puppet and towards the end of the video you can listen as he takes questions from the audience about the puppet:
