The Growing fame of puppeteer Ricky Syers

This is a great profile of American puppeteer Ricky Syers, whose fame has been growing in recent years thanks to viral videos of his street performances in New York City’s Washington Square Park. He became something of a viral sensation last year thanks to media coverage of his friendship with 85-year-old fan Doris Diether and was seen by millions of people on the Superbowl Broadcast last year performing a puppet of Fox Sports broadcaster Howie Long.

Ricky’s latest project is a four minute short made for McDonald’s in Norway called Nothing At All that promotes the chain’s relationship with farmers.
