Sometimes it’s best to keep it simple. Such is the case with The Audition, a PSA produced for Amnesty International last year. Produced by Aardman Nathan Love – the New York Studio affiliated with Oscar-winning Aardman Animation – simple hand manipulation techniques and clever direction were used to craft a simple, powerful spot highlighting how domestic violence often unfolds.
Of course, it doesn’t hurt to have Patrick Stewart as your talent either. Patrick grew up witnessing domestic violence in his home and has become a powerful spokesperson for Amnesty:
