It’s the return of Fraggle Rock!
Fraggle Rock On, a new interstitial-length version of the classic Jim Henson series made a surprise debut yesterday on Apple TV.
The original Fraggle Rock is one of the most beloved TV shows of the 1980s. Originally broadcast internationally from 1983 to 1987, the series followed the silly, musical adventures of three interconnected societies of Muppet creatures. This new iteration of the classic Jim Henson series is being produced amidst the coronavirus outbreak on iPhone 11handsets (naturally, it is Apple paying for this show after all) from the homes of the puppeteers across the United States in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
The first episode of Fraggle Rock On is available for free to anyone with an Apple device, or by signing up for a free trial of the Apple TV streaming service. Future episodes will debut every Tuesday on AppleTV.
